The Reserve Launch & Allocated Release Event
We’re kicking off the launch of our 2026 membership year with an official welcome event designed exclusively for our members. Join us for handcrafted cocktails, curated appetizers, and your first opportunity to pick up your initial 2026 membership releases.
Whether you’re returning for another year with The Reserve or joining us for the first time, we’re thrilled to welcome you. A new year brings new releases, elevated experiences, and plenty to look forward to—and we can’t wait to share it all with you.

Allocated Release Event No. 2
Our second allocated release event of the year brings members together once again to enjoy thoughtfully crafted cocktails, light bites, and access to the next round of exclusive Reserve releases. Designed as a relaxed yet elevated gathering, this event is an opportunity to reconnect with fellow members, spend time with the team, and experience the continued evolution of the 2026 Reserve lineup. Additional details will be shared closer to the date.
Allocated Release Event No. 3
The final allocated release event of the year serves as a celebratory close to the 2026 Reserve calendar, offering members one last chance to gather, sip, and secure their remaining allocated releases. Expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere centered around great drinks, curated bites, and meaningful moments with the community that makes The Reserve special. As with prior events, full details will be announced in advance, with all experiences thoughtfully designed for members first.

The Reserve is an exclusive whiskey club, allowing members unprecedented access to our most coveted releases (including 3 allocations per year; each including 1 x 375ml and 1 x 750ml bottle), with additional member benefits and invitations to behind-the-scenes events and tastings – including some hosted by Master Blender Dan Callaway and Bourbon Hall-of-Famer and Master Distiller – Steve Nally.
The price of The Reserve is $1,150 (including taxes) per member who joins.

Rare and highly-allocated Bourbon
Each four-month period, members will be presented with two bottles of Bardstown Bourbon Company's most sought-after allocations (1 x 750 ml and 1 x 375 ml). Each allocation in the 2026 membership includes one bottle from our Distillery Reserve Series, along with another bottle of Bardstown Bourbon Company product.
Invitations to members-only events
Members will be invited to a variety of exclusive events, both in-person and online, designed to deepen their connection with Bardstown Bourbon Company. From behind-the-scenes experiences to exclusive tasting sessions and special release previews, these events offer unique opportunities to immerse themselves in the world of bourbon.
Exclusive distillery access and benefits
Members enjoy a range of exclusive privileges designed to enhance their connection to Bardstown Bourbon Company. From priority access to limited releases to complimentary experiences and member-only perks, these benefits ensure a deeper, more immersive journey.
All memberships are sold as Individual Memberships (one person).
If a couple would like to join, they will need to purchase two individual memberships
Members will pay for plus-1s for select events where additional guests are allowed. This depends on the size and capacity of each event.
There will be 3 major member events per year associated with each allocation release, as well as several opportunities for member hangouts and other smaller experiences.
The pickup events are currently scheduled at the Bardstown Distillery, on the following dates:
Saturday, April 18
Saturday, August 15
Saturday, December 5
These dates also serve as the start of the 45-day window for members to pick up their product allocation at the distillery in Bardstown.
We are planning 2 virtual events as part of the 2026 membership program.
For members who live far away or are unable to attend an event due to unforeseen circumstances, allocations may be shipped at the member’s direction at the end of each release pick-up period (45 days after the allocations are released to members) - as long as the member lives in a state and location permitted to receive shipments of spirits products.
Currently, no shipments will be made to the following states: Tennessee, Utah, Texas, South Carolina, Hawaii, and Arkansas.
While members don’t have to live close, we highly recommend being within driving distance of the distillery. We want members to come out and enjoy events and our membership community, which we are building here at Bardstown Bourbon Company.
Additionally, living within driving distance to the distillery makes it much easier to pick up your allocation.
Members will receive exclusive and unique product allocations 3x per year as part of their membership benefits in the 2026 program. These are covered by their annual membership dues.
There is a 45-day window (starting from each release date) for members to pick up their allocations in person from the distillery in Bardstown.
For members in states where shipping is allowed, we’ll send a reminder before that 45-day window closes. If the allocations remain unclaimed, members may have their allocation shipped to them at an additional cost as determined by the shipper.
If you live in a non-shipping state, we reserve the right to cancel your membership and issue a prorated refund if the allocations have not been claimed after 45 days.
Due to varying state laws, currently, members residing in Tennessee, Utah, Texas, South Carolina, Hawaii, and Arkansas are required to pick up their allocations in person. Members in all other states may choose to have their allocations shipped after the pickup window has passed, so long as that state continues to permit alcohol shipments.
If you live in a non-shipping state and are required to pick up your allocations in-person, they will be held at the distillery for 45 days from each release date. We will send members notifications to remind them of the pickup details for their allocation.
After 45 days, if the allocations have not been claimed, we reserve the right to cancel your membership and issue a prorated refund.
Membership changes
All memberships are currently paid annually and sold individually. No changes may be made.
Membership cancellations
Memberships are sold as final, with a view to members enjoying the full year of benefits. In the event that a member has a specific issue (such as moving to a state which does not allow shipping of spirits products), they should connect directly with our concierge team on: concierge@thereserve.vip
Membership transfers
Memberships cannot be transferred to anyone else.
If membership is already full when you apply, you will be placed on a waitlist. However, due to limited availability, placement on the waitlist does not guarantee acceptance in future enrollment periods.
Depending on availability, members’ plus-1’s may be able to purchase an additional bottle at each applicable member event. These must be purchased at the event on-site, and will not be shipped.
- For each release, we will be hosting a member-only pickup event at our distillery in Bardstown.
- Members will be notified by email in advance of each allocation, inviting them to RSVP for the event, and to pick up their release in person.
- The member must be present to pick up the release in person, and must show relevant ID and membership ID to prove their membership.
- If you elect to pick up your product allocation in person, and cannot attend the pickup event, we will hold this at the distillery in Bardstown - for a maximum of 45 days after the release date.
- After this point, you may elect to have it shipped to the address listed in your member profile, provided shipping is permitted to such address. This would be for an additional fee, as determined by the shipper, as long as the shipper approves the shipment and the address is in a state and location that can receive distilled spirit shipments.

No. Members must be present to pick up their release if they choose to do so in-person. Please have your ID as well as your digital Membership ID to show upon pick-up.

Product cannot be shipped to Tennessee, Utah, Texas, South Carolina, Hawaii, or Arkansas. If your shipping address changes during the course of the membership year, and your new address is not within one of these states listed above, there will be two options available: (i) you can elect to pick up your shipments in person at our distillery in Bardstown, within such pickup period, or (ii) with proof of change of address, we will refund your membership pro-rata - depending on the number of shipments you have already received.
